For patients with edema, inquire about the medical history carefully to obtain information about the cause of edema, the pathogenesis, diagnosis and differential diagnosis, treatment and prognosis. In addition to asking general medical history information, patients with edema should pay attention to whether there is edema in the past, and the development of edema is persistent or intermittent, tends to improve or worsen, the location of edema, systemic or local limitations.
Fever edema must be distinguished from the following diseases:
1. Idiopathic edema: It occurs almost exclusively in women and is often related to the menstrual cycle. It is considered a response to endocrine disorders. This kind of edema is more common in middle-aged women, and has obvious postural adaptability. It often occurs in the lower limbs, and often appears when standing upright, walking or tired, and gradually subsides after lying flat or sleeping.
2. Menstrual edema: It is more common in middle-aged women and has a significant relationship with the menstrual cycle. It appears 7-14 days after menstruation. The base weight can be increased by 1-3 kg in about 10 days. After menstruation, there is an increase in urination, and at the same time, edema and other associated symptoms are significantly reduced, or even subsided.
3. Gestational edema: In the middle and late pregnancy, some pregnant women often have edema of lower limbs of varying degrees. This is mainly due to the increased uterine compression of the pelvic vein caused by lower limb venous reflux disorders. Raising the lower extremity, resting supine, the edema often resolves on its own.
1. Avoid excessive fatigue, rest more and don't get tired. Avoid eating spicy, greasy, and soy products. It is not suitable for many fruits such as spleen-yang deficiency, kidney-yang deficiency, and cold and damp. Watch your temperature and drink plenty of water.
2, active treatment of primary disease, must be under the guidance of a doctor: if the medication is not symptomatic, it may worsen the condition.
3, enhance immunity: regular exercise, physical fitness, to ensure adequate sleep, eat more foods rich in vitamins; to learn to regulate their emotions, when the mood is happy, immunity will increase.
