What is a cryoconzervation of sperm?

Cryokonzervation of sperm is a method of maintaining sperm. The sperm receives frost treatment that prevents degradation and then thaws if necessary. It is a common technique in cases where one wishes to save sperm before treatment of cancer or where couples require further help in pregnancy of the child.

For a long time as the 1950s, scientists used cryoconzervation of sperm as part of the treatment of human fertility.
