What Is a Mechanical Computer?
Mechanical computer (English: mechanical computer ) is composed of mechanical parts such as levers, gears and not electronic parts. The most common examples are adders and mechanical counters, which use gear rotation to increase the displayed output. More complex examples can be multiplied and divided. A model for calculating the square root was sold in the 1960s.
