Is Cellulitis Surgery Necessary?

Cellulitis gastritis is a rare disease and is a severe bacterial infectious inflammation of the submucosa of the stomach. The bacterial infection of this disease can affect the whole stomach, or it can be limited to a part of the stomach wall, of which the gastric antrum is most common. Submucosal cellulitis is often confined to the stomach wall, and may also affect the esophagus, even from the stomach to the descending colon. The disease can be divided into two types: acute diffuse (also called acute purulent gastritis) and chronic limitation. The former has a high incidence and high risk, while the latter has a low incidence and a good prognosis.
