What is salt therapy?

Therapy is an alternative medical treatment in which the patient is exposed to a halite or unrefined rock salts mixed with other minerals. It is believed that the inhalation salt disinfects the cavities and lungs. This therapy can also be included as a treatment of other chronic conditions such as asthma, bronchitis and sinusitis. Treatment can be administered in caves, salty rooms, with a salty tube, as a nasal spray or salinizer. Salt therapy is safe and has no known side effects. Halit produces negatively charged ions. These negative ions adhere to positively charged ions of bacteria, viruses, dust, pet and other undesirable particles. Once these particles are neutralized by negative ions, respiratory functions tend to improve.

Most therapy -verifies studies were conducted in Eastern Europe. The Russian study was designed for performing in the chamber of the damp humidity and the pressure of the salt cave. The study showed improved lung function and blood pressure in patients with chroniCitician obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and high blood pressure.

Other studies have shown similar positive results for asthma, bronchitis, cystic fibrosis or chronic sinusitis. One study conducted on healthy men and women analyzed the efficiency of a salt nasal spray in the fight against normal colds. The use of a salt nasal spray daily prevented cold symptoms in these healthy subjects.

Therapy can be made in caves of salt caves, rock salty rooms, with salty pipes or using salinizers. In Eastern Europe, where common salt caves are common, a spa was built for therapeutic purposes. Because not everyone has access to the salt cave, other advocates of salt therapy created. A straw room is an area in which the walls are completely covered with rock salt. Rooms contain comfortable chairs and television or other entertainment media for people that can be used by runningHEM 40-60 minutes.

Salt pipes are another method of administering therapy. The pipeline is filled with halite and the patient breathes the salt on the tube for 15-30 minutes a day. It is recommended that the pipe is consistently used as a complementary therapy for continuous night therapy of salt.

salinizers use ultrasonic vibrations to transform large salt water particles into much smaller breathable particles. Smaller particles are then distributed around the room by a fan in Salinizer. The patient can breathe salt freely while it is their daily activities or sleeping. For people with chronic conditions, a regular night 6-8 hours of Salinizer Sessions are designed.

It seems that salt therapy does not have any side effects. It is safe for almost all and does not interact with prescription or over -the -counter drugs. Inhalation will not hurt those who are on a low -floor diet. Supplies can be purchased in some health food stores or online.
