What are stained biscuits?

stained glass cookies is an amazing way to create a colorful delicacy that can be served on a plate or hung as a decoration on a holiday tree. Made of simple dough for biscuits and a mixture of hard candies, stained glass cookies are easy to prepare. Using only a basic recipe, almost anyone can produce stained glass cookies in less than thirty minutes. Also buy several different colors of hard candies. If the kitchen is not yet equipped with baking or aluminum foil, plastic bags of a quart size with a safe upper zipper and rolling, also buy these objects.

Allow the dough to warm up to room temperature so that the fabric is easy to work. Turn off a small part of the dough and roll the part into strips that are not more than a quarter inch thick. Place a part of the pergamen paper or foil above the flat surface of the baking sheet and with strips to create different shapes of cookies. The strips will be the outline of cookies.

empty the hard candies into several plastic bags. Do not forget to use only one color in each bag. Using a rolling pin, crush the pieces of hard candy into small strands. Keep in mind that crushed candies should be as reliable as possible. If the rolling pin does not seem to work, then wrap the plastic bag in a tea towel and hit the hammer bag.

Once the hard candies are crushed, fill the holes in the outlines of the stained glass biscuits. Keep in mind that there is no bad way to do it. You may want to use one color for cookies or use two or more. Experiment by creating several strong stained biscuits along with some eclectic mixtures. Bake the biscuits in a preheated furnace at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for eight to ten. Once the stainedings are biscuits, remove the baking tray from the oven baking pan with light golden brown.

Cookies will have to cool thoroughly before they are lifted out of the sheets. It usually won't tRivate for more than half an hour at room temperature. Gently disconnect the stained glass or parchment with spatula.

If the plan is to use stained glass biscuits as ornaments, be sure to use a wand or straw to strike the hole at the top of the dough. This facilitates the insertion of yarn or ribbons later and hangs decorative biscuits on the festive tree.
