What is the Punjene Tikvice?

Punjene Tikvice is a regional meal consisting of a stuffed squash that enjoys in Serbia, and many parts of the Balkan region of Southeastern Europe. This meal uses vegetables as a kind of edible container and injects it full of other ingredients. The whole meal is often baked or cooked with tomato sauce.

Many different cartridges can be used to create a punny tick of the bowl. Many cooks use a combination of minced beef with rice and vegetables.
