What is the Lord's prayer?

The prayer, which is also known as our father or floor of the Noster, is one of the most famous prayers in Christian faith. The Lord's prayer appears in two different versions in the New Testament of the Bible. He appears in Matthew's Gospel and Luke's Gospel. It is often incorporated into worship. In addition, many families say that the Lord's prayer at the beginning of the evening meal. This is suitable as one of the lines is "Give us this day our daily bread".

Some biblical scholars believe that the Lord's prayer is actually an instructions on how to pray. In this thought school, the Lord's prayer is something that needs to be read and considered, but not to learn a rotte and repeat in prayer. In connection with the Bible, Matthew uses prayer when they speak against people who pray an empty striking way. They attack individuals who pray only as offspring. Some believe that in Thi he uses the Lord's prayer to describe how one should pray, do not offer words with which he should pray.Of course, many Christians do not apply for this interpretation of the Lord's prayer and use it as part of their spoken prayer.

depending on the tradition of the Church in which the Lord's prayer is recited, can be spoken either in Latin or English. Followed by the Lord's prayer in Latin:

Pater Noser, Qui es in Caelis:
Sanctifech nomen tuum;
Adveniat Regnum Tuum;
Fiat Voluntas Tua, Sicut in Caelo, et in Terra.
Mr. Nostrum Cotidianum da Nobis Hodie;
Et dimitte nobis debita nostra,
Sicut et nose Dimitmitm debitoribus nostris;
et no nose inducas in Stanitation;
Sed Libera nose and Malo.

The most common English translation of the Lord's prayer comes from the Anglican book The common prayer, which was published in 1662. According to this text, the Lord's prayer sounds as follows:

our father who artin heaven,
Sacred to be your name.
Your kingdom will come.
Yours will be done,
on earth like in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our offense,
As we forgive them, they go beyond us.
And does not lead us not to temptation;
But deliver us from evil.
For it is the kingdom, strength and glory,
Forever. Amen.

, however, the prayer differs in the real biblical text. In the version of King Jakub Matthew, the Lord's prayer appears as such:

After this way, pray: our father, who art in heaven, is sacred is your name. Your kingdom will come. Your will be done on Earth like in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, because we will forgive our debtors. And it doesn't lead us not to tempt, but the Deliver US from Evil: for it is your kingdom and power and glory for ever. Amen. (Matthew 6: 9-13)
