What is a supersonic rocket?

The supersonic rocket is technically any rocket that travels faster than Mach 1, as many excursion missiles do. Sometimes, however, the term is used specifically to indicate a new generation, faster missiles at Mach 2 to Mach 3. Subsonic missiles such as American Tomahawk or French Exocet. Excess rockets use Ramjet, 4x for Moskit and Coyote and 2x for Brahmos. Ramjets use the air to oxidize the rocket fuel quickly, which excludes the need for oxidation on -board oxidation, allowing a greater weight payment ratio and increasing the highest speed. Also Lack Moving Parts, which makes them easier for mass productions and more convenient for supersonic missile applications.

Excess rockets are 2-3 times heavier than their subsonic counterparts, more in the neighborhood of three tons than just one. According to NATO analysis, Russian Moscow missiles are among the greatest possible threats for friendly navy, which are used by Russian armies, China and probably Iran. SystemsBreatened on direct energy and laser evolves to shoot down these supersonic missiles before they can hit friendly ships.

Many supersonic missiles are sea skimmeters that travel about 20 m (66 ft) through water for 50 - 300 km (31 - 186 miles) to their destination. Moscit, slightly older, has a range of 120 km (75 miles) and Brahmos and Coyote (newer) have a range of 300 km (186 million). The supersonic missiles can be nuclear tips, which would be devastating to the enemy Navy if it was successfully deployed. The existence of these missiles causes one question to be the effectiveness of the paradigm of the capital ship in modern naval.
