What was the Late Heavy Bombardment?

The Ye-2 bomber (Yermolayev Yer-2) is a double-engined long-range bomber developed in the former Soviet Union and in the middle of World War II (1940). The landing gear has a capacity of five people and a maximum load of up to 5 tons (short range fuel capacity).
