What is C-Telefon?

As regards healthcare information, doctors and laboratory technicians are used by various methods to record patient care and laboratory notes for later reference in medical sets. One such method is the use of a C-Telefon, a digital recording device remotely accessible by phone to record spoken words. This is an effective way that doctors and other healthcare professionals can safely record information to get transcription and transmitted to printed copies via dictation and transcription facilities. The clutch, which is a special cord that connects the phone system with a digital recording system, is the place from which C-Telephone comes from. The clutch also allows a doctor or laboratory technique to record notes through a centralized dictate system in a hospital or laboratory environment or on an outsourced Securtelephone network managed by a transcriptional service.

The work of the C-Telefon is actually quite simple. A doctor or laboratory will dial a special number that associates it with a dictate service. Once the telephone line accepts the call, generally via a special code driven into the phone keyboard, the clutch connects the telephone line with a digital dictatious device and spoken medical notes can be entered. During the call, the caller has the ability to back up, check and remove parts of digitally stored notes. When the call is complete, the caller simply presses the code to exit the recording session or hangs up to disconnect.

At present, C-Telephones are managed using a computer system that can handle multiple telephone lines coming simultaneously. While callers can be assigned a special number to call or code that is unique to their accosunt, others allow up to ten lines coming to one computer that stores posesPatient cases in individual digital files. These files are securely stored on one server that can only be accessed by authorized employees such as other medical staff or transcription.

With the rise of mobile phones with remote records via C-trades, they become a preferred method of records of many professionals in a wide range of industries. Doctors like the use of this system because of its comfort and effective way of recording patient care. In addition, other experts, such as lawyers, police officers and general administrators, can use some form of C-Phone technology to record meetings, court hearing and cases for later processing by qualified transcription.
