What is the DMX console?
Digital multiplex (DMX) console is a device used to control other devices that communicate using DMX technology. The DMX console, which is also referred to as DMX-512 technology, is the most common device used to control lighting at professional theater points. In the sound, DMX is often used to indicate Oberheim DMX, a drum machine used often in the first days of rap and hip hop. In general, the professional DMX consoles are the size of a computer workstation, but newer technologies have made the lighting design systems more portable. DMX can also be called DMX controller. Basic drivers are best suited for homelight fans who want jazz for simple lighting displays such as displays that are visible during the holidays. Some companies also use DMX consoles systems for their business lighting, especially if the building is large or contains several suites that need individual remote controls for each room. This is usually observed in corporate complexes or in skyscrapers with central lighting control systems.
DMX consoles differ as widely in capacity and functions as the price. DMX console systems at the basic level offer simple controls above lights such as programming, dimming and fading, while advanced consoles offer the ability to program lights in a virtual three -dimensional interface. DMX console manufacturers include American DJ®, Behringer® and Baxter controls.
6 Once the appearance is recorded into the light console, the designer programs a sequence of appearances called allusions that lead lighting through a number of programmed sequences. While older DMX console systems frequently used floppy disks to store lighting files, usually called programs, have modern internal memory lighting consoles or use portable universal Serial Bus (USB) to save andThey transported transport from the console to the console. The console lighting sets are usually not compatible and often do not transfer from one bracket to another, unless consoles are the same construction of the basic model.Full -size lighting console is becoming less common, as technology proceeds. In small light lights controlling lights in places with limited hardware lighting, the reserved lighting console is often unnecessarily bulky and expensive light control at the venue. PC -based lighting systems are connected to the lighting design system using adapters such as DMX USB, which enables the computer to communicate with a professional lighting system.
