What Are Qualitative Data Statistics?
The focus of this book is to introduce the statistical methods of categorical and ordinal variables. It is characterized by applying simple mathematical knowledge as much as possible to explain relevant statistical principles, so that scholars engaged in social science research can master and apply qualitative data measurement methods. In this book, probability ratios are the most important concepts and measurements throughout the book. When learning log-probability ratios and log-linear models, readers must have knowledge of ordinary linear regression and analysis of variance, combined with contingency table analysis methods, in order to understand the settings of the model and the meaning of its parameters [1]
