What Is Gaming Management?

GAME MASTER refers to the online game manager employed by the company in order to ensure the quality of the game and allow players to enjoy and engage in online games; thoroughly understand all the status of the game so that players can get better service. The role of GM is: problem solver, virtual world police, and people who serve players.

Through game management, maintain the laws of the game world (player rules), protect the legal rights of players, and let players enjoy the game happily.

Supervise the online game order, record violations, and properly propagate online players' behavior. If the player's behavior in the game violates the relevant provisions of the "Player Code", the GM will handle the illegal account accordingly after checking.

Find out the special problems in the game and the bugs and deficiencies in the game, record player feedback, and submit them to relevant departments in time to find a solution.

Monitor the status of the server, report the abnormal status of the server to relevant departments for processing, and fill in records in a timely manner.

Other work to keep online games running smoothly.

Assist other departments in the implementation, supervision and maintenance of online activities. ^[1]

Game manager work specifications

1. Ensure that personal registration information such as user name, email address, and English logo will not be disclosed to the public.

unless:

(A) The user authorizes the disclosure of this information to the game world.

(B) The relevant legal process requires the user's personal data.

2. Be absolutely neutral in the game without involving disputes between players.

3. Don't use any means to assist players in playing games in an abnormal way.

4. Don't leak game mechanics in any way, such as mission status, monster status, etc.

5. It is not allowed to have non-working conversations with players in the game, that is: chat or other communication methods.

6. Don't transfer players for no reason, and don't affect players' normal games and drive away games. ^[1]

Note for game managers

1. Answers to questions from gamers:

(1) GM can ignore requests for help without actual content.

(2) GM's online inquiry will not be accepted in the following cases:

(A) Ask the game settings, such as item usage, NPC location, etc.

(B) Players can get answers through homepage descriptions, player strategies and rules.

(C) General problems that can be solved by the players through communication with each other.

3) If you encounter a problem that cannot be easily described or difficult to solve, please inform the player by E-mail of the details.

(4) For questions that cannot be answered temporarily, explain the reason to the player.

(5) Unreasonable requests and excessive demands will be ignored. ^[1]

Game Manager Work Rights

Prohibition: Close some or all chat channels of offending players. The online dialogue function of the player character is forcibly suspended, preventing the player character from talking with other players until the punishment expires or is cancelled.

Temporary quarantine: The offending player is transferred to a special scene of the game, which prevents him from performing any game action until the punishment expires or is cancelled.

Force offline: Force the offending player to leave the current game and end the execution of the player's game program.

Suspended account: Suspend the right of the player account to log in to the game.

Delete file: Delete the character file of the offending player in the game world to prevent the character from appearing in the game world again.

PS: Judging criteria for player violations:

On the public channel, there are behaviors that infringe on the rights and interests of most players, such as constant noise, repeated speeches, continuous advertisements, and malicious screen swipes.

Use swear words or offensive language on public channels or public places.

Calling the GM too frequently will affect the GM's work.

Using the program bug directly or indirectly or infringing the rights and interests of other players, it is verified after being checked by management personnel or reported by other players.

Promotion of plug-ins, use of plug-ins.

Disobey GM arrangements, abuse GM, bad plot.

Users who use any political intent or insulting words in the game, or impersonate the system and staff names and pets that have caused the player to misunderstand, summon the nickname of the beast, and after verification is verified, they shall be sentenced to imprisonment or forced rename.

Note: In many Go games such as TOM and Go Soul Go, the webmaster (ie GM) can chat with other players, but it is not allowed to involve materials within the company and some running programs of Go software.
