What is a letter of possession?

Literal letter is an external registration letter presented by the Faculty of Member Member's offer for permanent employment. This letter may come from a subordinate, a colleague or a supervisor, depending on the information required by the Committee for the Loose, but it will usually be required from the leaders of the candidate who are asked to comment on the candidate's potential and positively contribute to the knowledge base in the field. The system is designed to protect academic freedom within the theory that a faculty that is not under the threat of employment loss will be able to report all aspects in teaching and publishing, not only the most popular. Not all members of the faculty are entitled to tenure. Only those hired in positions for possession can be taken into account and only after a few years for probation. As soon as a member of the faculty has delivered with the possession of the trial period, the Committee for Holding reviews its candidacy and recommends recommendations on whether to offer a permanent contract.

part of the process of reviewing the tenure commission is a request for tenure. The Committee first decides what type of criteria to justify. For example, the Committee could seek the evaluation of the research potential of the candidate, collegiality or teaching. The type of proof of proof shall be determined by the relevant person to submit a letter of possession in favor of the candidate. A letter in the possession could be as easily asked for a former student as a former employer.

The tenancy Committee usually deals with the potential of the candidate to contribute to the research base of his chosen field. In this case, letters for the possessive faculty in the field would be required, which the candidate should have a reason to know from the years of work in the same field. It is expected that any letter received will contain a shining review of the potential of the candidate.

Lown -to -party candidate is usually required to provide a list of potential recommendations that the candidate thinks would write effectsa letter about the possession. Then the Chairman of the Closure Committee would contact the people directly on the list or the candidate could ask the application itself. In both cases, the content of the letter of possession may create or violate the offer of a candidate for permanent employment.
