How Does Check Processing Work?
The transfer check is issued by the unit, a voucher that informs the bank to withdraw money from its account. Checks for transfers can only be used for transfers, not cash withdrawals. It applies to the settlement of goods transactions, labor supply and other economic transactions between units. The transfer check is issued by the payment unit to the receiving unit, and it is not allowed to entrust the receiving unit to sign on behalf of it; it is not allowed to issue short checks and forward checks; it is not allowed to rent out check. All units must comply with the relevant regulations of the bank when using transfer checks. [1]

- After receiving the check from the payment unit, the cashier of the receiving unit should first check the check to avoid receiving fake checks or invalid checks. The review of checks should include the following:
(1) Whether the cheque is clear and whether it is filled with ink or carbon ink;
(2) Whether all the contents of the cheque are filled in completely, whether the unit seal is stamped at the seal of the issuing unit, whether the capital amount and the payee have been altered, and if the other contents have been altered, whether a reserved bank seal is stamped;
(3) Whether the payment unit of the check is the unit;
(4) Check whether the amount of capitalization of the check is correct and whether the two are consistent;
(5) whether the check is within the payment period;
(6) Whether the endorsement check is correct and continuous.
After the cashier of the receiving unit has reviewed the accepted cheques, he can fill out a duplicate invoice and send it to his bank with the cheque. After the account-opening bank has verified that it is correct, it can stamp the first transfer of the invoice with the "Transfer" stamp to return the refund unit. The beneficiary unit compiles the bank deposit receipt voucher based on the first receipt of the return bill stamped by the bank. |
