What is the suicondylar fracture?

Supracondylar fracture is a type of bone fracture that affects the humerus at the top of the arm. Named for the location of this particular break, a fracture of SUSOPRAPONDYLAR just above the epicondyles of the humerus. Epicondyles are a pair of rounded bony forgiveness found at the lower end of the humerus bone, just above the elbow joint. Suchingylar Fracture, often observed in children, but relatively unusual in adults, usually includes the back turning of the bone in which the bone breaks in the reverse direction. The fracture of the suraphondylar occurs when the elbow of the Hyperextended is or it straightens to its normal range of movement when stretching the hand against the impact of the fall. Humerus then absorbs the impact of the fall and, in 80 percent, captures backwards, injuries known as a fracture of the extension.

Less common types of suraphondylar fractures are a type of flexion in which bones will surprise forward and fracture of the shift. To a fractureUNU occurs when the separate parts of the bone slightly slightly slip around. This usually occurs when the distal or bottom part of the bone backwards, but can also be accompanied by a shift to the body or away from the body or rotation. In most cases, the break shows a combination of fracture of extension and rear shift. Up to 21 percent of cases are also accompanied by other complications such as damage to the nearby brachial artery or middle nerves.

6 This joint is located on the rounded hursery base Bone fits in a semicircular notch at the top of the ulna, shaped as a crescent key, called a semilunar or a sloping notch. When the arms straighten, the curved upper part of the ulna above the notch known as Olecranon Process Curves into a niche in Humer between two epicondyles, a space known as the trochle. Flexible ligaments hold the bones together on the elbow aid when absorbing the impact of the fall, while the rigid humerus occupies an impact. As a result, the bone tears just above the joint where it is narrower and slamBerry, injury that occurs with pain and the ability to move the elbow and which requires immediate medical care.
