What is embryology?

embryology is a study of life creation, part of studies concerning developmental biology. Developmental biology examines how all life forms begin and how they evolve in fully formed and functioning organisms. The focus on embryology is much narrower.

The embryologist looks at the beginning of life from a unicellular organism, egg or sperm. Embryologists examine fertilization and monitor the development of the embryo until it is similar to its progenitors. For example, in a human concept, embryologists would be interested in sperm and eggs and meetings of the two and then follow the implantation of eggs and growth of the embryo until it reaches the fetal stage. In people, the study of the embryo would take about the second month of pregnancy.

Some embryologists further investigate the complete development of different organs in the body. For example, neuroembryology studies the way the spinal chord and the central nervous system evolve from the fertilized egg. Cardiologists use embryology in order to classify the way the fertilized eggHe develops into the heart and lungs.

Aristotle was one of the first to promote epigenesis theory, a concept that develops for the forms of life develops into complex organisms from fertilization. It was not a popular concept and was largely eliminated in favor of the theory of pre -formation, which indicated that every human sperm had already waited. In the mid -18th century Caspar Fredriech Wolff again set the concept of epigenesis. While studying Chick, Wolff realized that the body of the body has a phase of development. Through vivisection, he observed the complexity of specific organs and claimed that their development could not simply occur spontaneously, but had to develop over time.

Later scientists followed his studies as developing, and the subsequent enhancement of the microscope was found that Wolff's theories were quite accurate. Wolff is credited as a "father of embryology", although not conceptualized at first. There are several practical embryology applications in the modern world. Embryology provided doctors tools to create fertilized eggs for in vitro implantation. Embryology study led directly to the cloning concept, either for the whole organism or part of the organism.

Cloning and fertilization in vitro was subject to huge debate. Part of the problem lies in every embryological textbook. Everyone states that life begins on TON Moment of conception. Although it is true that some form of life begins in conception, the degree, value and quality of such life are not solved. The premises and opponents of abortions are therefore argued about this concept earlier and from the legalization of abortion.

Others will absolutely refute this concept and believe that manipulation of human cells "plays God", and as such is immoral and potentially dangerous. This debate will undoubtedly continue, especially with regard to legislation that allows stem cells from human embryos.
