What is the implicit memory?

The

implicit memory is a fascinating concept that claims that there are many things that people automatically know in almost any given situation without trying to remember. These things are simply present because they have previously learned and have no effort. Many physical tasks are implicit; For example, most people will not forget how to walk, and they do not have to remind you how to do it every time they stand up. There are also other forms of implicit memory. One of the areas in which this form of memory is most studied is in humans with brain damage and various tests suggest that unconscious remembering can remain a higher extent, while in some people with a brain deficiency, conscious or explicit memory is reduced. This contains ideas, thoughts and beliefs that can control behavior/thoughts that even awaren cannot explain. The connection between the process of unconsciousness/feeling and implicit behavior is not entirely clear, but the studies are beginning to prove that implicated and explicit memorization are often quite agedand separated.

Some of the most convincing implicit memory work have been done in testing people with forms of amnesia. Amnesiac cannot use explicit memory to a very memory, but given the exposure to certain things that could be able to use the implicit memory to create certain answers. Some of this testing depends on the previous exposure of some form of fast, often words that are then produced without having to reach it at the next point. Although not all explicit and implicit memory can be separated, it is proposed that with amnesia, the implicated memory can still be very strong, although there is no explicit memory.

religious memory is often part of the learning strategy. Students receive a material that may need to know about testing, and when studying that a material that they can place so firmly in their minds that they will always remember it. It's not alwaysKy and many people forget what they have learned, how they age.

Although it would be possible to forget the facts, it is likely that students will have automatic memories of certain things, such as how to test, how to write an essay and a general feeling of studied topics. The memory of this may be automatic and a student who returns to school after the absence of 20 years could immediately feel comfortable in an academic environment, especially in the repuding of any previously studied material.

Studies on differences in implicit and explicit memory can be useful in solving problems of memory damage and teaching unconventional students. The easiest way to use the implicit memory system is to consider for those who propose the curriculum.
