What is the Personal Data Protection Act?

The Personal Data Protection Act is a law that the US Congress adopted in 1986, which provides for a provision on what privacy rights people have when they use phones, computers, mobile phones or other means for electrical communication such as faxes or text messages. In 1986, the provision did not include some of the newer forms of communication developed since then. However, these communication forms, as well as text messages, are still covered by law. It is also illegal to listen to communication and get a tour command or interrupt transmissions. If you do so, it is considered to be illegal search and seizure. In most cases, if the lid has been obtained if the person does not agree with the recording, the material obtained from the conversation cannot be used. A private citizen recording another person's conversation without their consent cannot in many cases be submitted as evidence, even if it can be used to determine the right to obtain orders.

The Personal Data Protection Act has undergone minor changes since the establishment of the Patriot Act to 11 September 2001. In most cases, however, the law forbids the government to listen to interviews for private citizens with the first order.

This legislation was paid to further attention, because the Supreme Court ruled that President George W. Bush violated the law by regulations of interviews without obtaining the order first. Breach is an unusual offense, but most of the Democrats admit the inability to control the house, and the Senate probably means that there would be not enough voices to accuse Bush.

others feel that although the President violated the Personal Data Protection Act, he was right in the interest of the nation's protection against possible terrorist activity. At the moment, it is a considerable argument that is not completely guerrilla. Some Republicans felt that thisBreach should be a reason for the indictment, and some Democrats feel that it should not.
