What are the advantages and disadvantages of using herbal medicine for cancer?

It seems that the main benefit for the use of a herbal drug for cancer concerns side effects. In most cases, herbal cure for cancer leads to side effects of the same severity as the more traditional treatment methods. The main disadvantage is that herbal drugs have undergone the same type of strict testing as traditional drugs, and little is known about the actual success of herbal agents. Some of the more promising herb remedies for cancer are treatment using extract from European mistletoe and eating refilling of thunderboat. Unlike many other types of herbal medicine for cancer, the European mistletoe extract was the subject of some clinical trial. Laboratory testing seems to kill cancer cells. This also resulted in the development of new blood cells necessary for tumor growth. It is assumed that the European mistletoe extract helps strengthen the immune system and has seemed to reduce some side effects of chemotherapy in studies.

The disadvantage for the use of European mistletoe extract as cancer treatment is primarily related to the studies themselves. Some scientists claim that testing of experiments did not have the number of test entities necessary for a comprehensive study. Although most scientists agree that the extract from European mistletoe does not pose any significant risk for patients, some claim that stricter testing is needed. In addition to some suspected testing, another disadvantage is that in some countries it is very difficult to obtain treatment. In the United States, for example, it is illegal to import injection extract from European mistletoe.

Milk thistle is a dietary supplement made of extracts from the seeds of the Milk Thownproof in Marian. The extract contains sylmarin and silybin, two healing components that are expected to be useful in the fight against cancer. In case studies, these compounds have proven to be successful in the fight against cancer ProstaYou, breast cancer and cervical cancer. In mice, which was administered by a thunderboard of Marian twice a day, there was a noticeable shrinkage of tumors. When testing on human subjections, the results seemed to indicate that Milk thresholds could contribute to reducing tumors of subjects suffering from leukemia.

Again, as with the European mistletoe extract, the biggest disadvantage about the use of thistle as a herbal drug for cancer is reliability and lack of testing. Some scientists believe that much more studies are required before the recommendation of the cancer treatment. As far as potential side effects are concerned, the thunderboard of Marian is safe, and the side effects are reported as smaller.
