What is a subcumcular stitch?
The
seve is synonymically used to indicate a fiber, a finished stitch or a gentle procedure to close the surgical wound or traumatic damage. The subcumcular stitch refers to the more difficult technique of repairing a deep wound that extends under the upper layer of the skin or epidermis. It is also called a subdermal or subcutaneous stitch. For surgeons, sewing is considered an indispensable skill.
The purpose of sewing is to ensure a trouble -free seal to the edge so that the wounds are previously open and time to recover. However, for cutting or injury to dense skin tissue, it is not only sufficient to stitch the outer skin together - the basic tissue would not be healed. Early methods of solving stronger body tissues meant simply ensuring that a larger surgical needle penetrated deep enough for a larger stitch, more tightly tied to compress everything. The subcutis, also called the undercoat, is the innermost layer of leather. TheThis layer of skin, which consists of several types of free connective tissue, is strong and durable. First, this layer of skin is repaired by a subcumcular stitch. The external epidermis follows and often use techniques to minimize scarring.
The use of melted threads is preferred for subcumcular stitch buried under the skin. These stitches are made of different biologically degradable synthetic materials and are absorbed by the body and disappear over time. Traditional stitches such as silk can also be used, but their marked ends are exposed to the skin for easy time for easy removal.
Surgical needle varies completely from needles, which are usually used for sewing a cloth. They are curved, semicircular in shoppice and different lengths and diameter. Some have eye eyes, but most of them are produced with a predetermined length of the stitch thread connected to its sharpened tip. They are calledthose needles and should be discarded after use.
The basic movement is a corridor of a curved needle shape along the wound seam. When a long fiber is carried out continuously, it is called a running stitch. Instead, most surgeons take precedence for so -called interrupted stitches, which are individually tied stitches using a very short fiber. The subcumcular stitch uses another stitch called a running horizontal mattress stitch in which individually tied stitches remain continuously connected to neighboring stitches. The lure is finished with a node of a double overhand or surgeon.
