What is orchidopexes?

orchidopexia is a surgery to repair an unseen testicles, which is a common problem in newborn men. Operation is usually performed in infants around age whose testicles has so far descended into the scrotum. Some older children, adolescents and adults may also be candidates for orchidopexia due to congenital problems or after traumatic injury. Orchidopexes are generally fast, safe and outpatient procedure with very high success and several risks of complications.

Until recent years, most doctors have decided to wait for patients to be about one year old to consider orchidopexia. Surgery included the creation of relatively large cuts, so that the testicles could be manually loaded from the tan channel in the lower abdomen and mounted in the scrotum. Newer innovations in urological techniques and surgical equipment are now facilitated by specialists to perform before, usually in three to six -month series. Early Intervention proved to be a less invasive procedure that reduces the chances of permanent damageTesticular or surrounding nerves, blood vessels and body tissue.

The

patient usually has a small dose of general anesthesia before surgery. The monitoring device is established in the operating room for controlling vital symptoms, breathing and brain wave activities. After detecting the precise placement of unsecured testicles with ultrasound and computer scanning, the surgeon will make a small cut in the lower abdomen. The endoscopic camera is often used to carefully visualize the surgeon's surgery without having to perform large open cuts.

With the help of an endoscope, the surgeon locates the sperm line and netwists or releases it as needed from the surrounding structures. Then he carefully manipulates the testicles down. Another small incision is usually done by a scrotum, which will help lead the testicles to the place from below. To prevent the testes from inserting back into the inguinal channel, several smallCHECKED STRUSS TO SCROTAL WALL.

orchidopexes can usually be completed in less than an hour, after which the patient is brought to the recovery room until anesthesia is exhausted. The surgeon may decide to keep the patient in the hospital overnight to monitor recovery and make sure there will be no complications. Most infants are able to go home with their parents the next day with instructions on dressing surgical scar and limiting physical activity for four to six weeks. Subsequent visits to the pediatrician are common to ensure that the procedure is successful. Most of the children undergoing surgery are able to mature normal speed and in the future are not covered by reproductive problems.
