What is a podocyte?

Podocyte is a special type of cell found in the kidneys. The podocytes form the outer wall of Bowman's capsule, which closes the node of extremely small blood vessels known as glomerulus. There are many Bowman capsules in the kidneys and many glomeruli, and in the early stages of urine, blood is filtered through them. Blood filters through openings in cells lining glomerular blood vessels and then a layer of podocytes that surround the blood vessels. Each palsy is specially shaped so that when the cells fit together, they create slots that are part of the blood of the filter. These are known as primary processes and numerous slim legs, called secondary processes or pedicelles, from which they project. The podocytes fit together so that the pedicors of one sub -graft into the gaps between the other pedicles, like two halves of the zipper. When Blood is filtered through Glomerulus and Bowman capsules, only small molecules and water are able to pass through the leaking lining of the blood vessels and a layer of palsy. Blood cells and proteins areu too large and remain behind.

and also as part of the blood filtering process is also considered to be connected to the podocyte cell in maintaining a clean filter, although it is not exactly known as it does. Blood inside the glomerulus is high pressure and the podocytes help to support the walls of the blood vessels and prevent them from expansion. Many conditions are associated with damage to the palsy, including diabetes mellitus and kidneys. When the podocytes are damaged and deformed, this may mean that they no longer form filter slots correctly and the protein molecules can pass into the urine. If the podocytes are lost or if it multiplies until there is too much, it can affect the bromerululum structure, causing degeneration or collapse.

After entering Bowman's capsules through the outer layer of podocyta cells, filtered blood, which is known as a filtrate, passes through a long tube that passes through different parts of the kidneys. They joinDifferent waste waste and useful substances are removed until the fluid known as urine is formed. The function of the kidneys is to remove waste and toxic particles from the body, and these are substances that eventually leave the body during urination.
