Sesamin, root of Acanthopanax sessiliflorus (Rupr. Et Maxim.) Seem.], Sesamum indicum DC. Seed or seed oil, Paulownia tomentosa (Thunb .) Steud.

- d-type, needle-like crystal (ethanol), melting point 122 123 ,
- Sesamin has inhibitory effects on influenza virus, Sendai virus and Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Agriculturally used as a synergist of pyrethroids. Clinical observation has a certain effect on tracheitis. It is used for anti-virus, bactericide, antioxidant, insecticide synergist, and treatment of bronchitis.
