Where is the driest place on Earth?

The driest place on Earth are certain areas of Antarctica, especially the polar plateau, which receives only small to no clotting, and when this happens, only in the form of fine ice crystals and not more than a few cm per year. The driest place in Antarctica known (lacking ice cover) is the dry valley of McMurdo, which are very sparse in surface humidity due to strong giving dense winds. If an animal, such as a seal, dies, it becomes mummified for decades, because it is only a very small life that breaks it down. Dry McMurdo Valley are extensively studied by scientists who compare the climate with the Mars climate. In fact, the Atacama desert parts can actually exceed the dryness of most Antarctica, although the data is not enough. Atacama desert is so dry that the mountains of 6,885 m (22,590 ft) have no glaciers, which makes them unique in the world. Studies have shown that the Atacama desert has not received any considerable precipitation between 1570 and 1971, and some ancient troughs seem to have been dry afterBU 120,000 years. Like McMuro Dry Valleys, parts of the Atacama desert were compared with Mars and were actually used to shoot alien scenes in Sci -Fi movies.

The driest place of all in the Atacama desert is the high coastline of Crest-Line, which has no sea fog. The whole desert is formed by a "rain shadow" caused by Andy Mountains to the West, which absorb all moisture before it gets into the area. In 1569, Alonso de Ercilla, a Spanish soldier, wrote "towards Atacama, near the abandoned coast, you will see a country without men where there is no bird, neither animal or tree or vegetation." The driest place in the desert is so lifeless in the soil can not be detected by any microbes.
