- The main duties of the reception manager are as follows:
- 1. Responsible for the front office manager and manage the reception.
- 2. Formulate the annual work plan of the reception desk and submit it to the relevant departments for approval.
- 3. Assist in the formulation of the reception
- The heads (or foremen) of the front office departments directly direct, supervise, control and participate in front office services and guest room sales in the front line of customer service. They are the direct responsibility of the front office to ensure the quality of service . The reception manager should also have the following qualities:
- 1. Grasp the knowledge of tourism economy, tourism geography, and folk customs, etiquette, and modern hotel operation and management of major source countries.
