- Chickenpox precautions
- The patient must be isolated until the rash is dry and crusted. The susceptible children who have been in contact with the patient must go to the collective children's institution such as kindergarten and school after a 3-week observation period.
- Patients who already suffer from other diseases, especially those with severe eczema, burns, and those who are receiving hormone therapy, should try to avoid contact with chickenpox patients. With contact, the hormone should be stopped in time. As early as 3 to 6 ml of gamma globulin or chicken pox recovery period serum (collected within one month after the rash disappears), intramuscular injection is used as passive immunity.
