What is the regional area manager?

The regional manager is a person who manages the geographical region for some type of organization. This organization is often a business or government agency with more than one place to service customers or performing operations. The regional area manager may be responsible for sales operation, general management, security management or possibly dozens of other specialties. For example, this could be related to the sale of a certain number of products of the product or fulfilling a certain profit range.
