What is business engineering?

Enterprise Engineering is a discipline that integrates other types of disciplines to effectively deal with all the efforts related to the company or any organization. In short, this study area includes almost all elements involved in any society such as finance, management, human resources and even marketing. The purpose of enterprise engineering is to constantly oversee improvement and progress in one or all elements of the company using certain techniques and methods. In this way, they are treated very much like a building or machine, and all their components interconnect each other. Business and companies are not the only ones that can benefit from this kind of systemic engineering, but also all kinds of foundation, such as government departments and non -profit organizations.

Generally business engineering uses a cyclic process to evaluate and improve the company's structure. ThisThe cycle may include many steps, but can be summarized in three simple stages. The first is “strategic planning” in which all existing information and company data are analyzed. All the information will create several consequences about the company, including its place on the market, its status quo about profits and the efficiency of human resources. The second state in the corporate engineering cycle is the "improvement of the process", where all the information collected is used for further procedure for the company's system. This phase includes a team effort in which everyone in the company cooperates to get to the goal. In many cases, an enterprise engineer can provide a diagram or system model that the company can try to follow. Sometimes this includes the process of experiments and mistakes, to try different methods until society finds the one that suits it best. The last phase is "performance measurement" in which the company evaluates its progress since the first phase of strategic planning. This phase of enterprise engineering ensures that a list of goals is realized and that the company is constantly experiencing improvement.
