What is involved in international organizational behavior?
International organizational behavior concerns the way in which the principles of organizational behavior are used across the Board of Directors in corporations with international subsidiaries and associations. This is important because of the fact that companies that operate in other countries but come elsewhere have usually introduced corporate cultures that may not take into account unique factors presented by a new culture in other countries. The relevance of international organizational behavior systems is the fact that companies will allow the organizational behavior of employees in a new culture in relation to their previous studies and understanding behavior in the organization. Such knowledge will allow the company management to take better decisions and concessions to help structure it for greater production of employees and general organizational perfection.
The example of the application of international organizational ethics can be seen in the case of an advertising company from the United States that opens a branch in Spain. Such a society would have to studyT special attributes of Spanish culture in relation to the way it affects the behavior of employees. Cultural diversity is a reality that cannot be overlooked by the management of the company if it wishes to use such diversity as a means to achieve a form of a corporate advantage. In this sense, the Company would have to make adjustments to the relationship between different employees - something that may vary from expecting the way that employees from the United States communicate with each other.
Another example of a problem that may appear in a study of international organizational behavior is a delegation of roles in societies where the role of the divipodle of the gender of employees. Some cultures may not allow their women to have the independence that women in the United States enjoy. In such a situation, this type of attitude can be transferred to the workplace and can be reflected in the way the employees relate. If this is the case, the company will also have to adjust its expectations regarding various POHeads not to create unnecessary tension to reduce employees' ability to fully fulfill their duties. The main problem in international organizational behavior is the understanding that there is no set of rules that could be applied at an international level without making any concessions.
