What is the work of the shift?

Shift Perform concerns employers who are considering a working day as 24 hours and designing work in shifts to cover this time period. Employees can temporarily work on a shift and this may rotate or may be considered a shift outside for a long time. Some industries necessarily have to work at all times such as hospitals. Patients would have trouble if all nurses and doctors left their work at 5 pm and did not return until the next morning. Other industries used such models to increase production or to cover the needs of operation continuously. Instead, it is rather an employer's organizational practice. However, this practice may have significant consequences for employees. Shift work, especially shifts that include working at night and sleep during the day, were associated with several health consequences. Disruption of circadiretms, especially if there is insufficient light exposure during the day, may increase the risk of heart disease and people are exposed to higherMU at risk of certain types of headaches, high blood pressure and breast cancer. It is believed that regular changes in shifts where employees alternate between night and daily shift are potentially risky because regular sleep formulas cannot be determined.

For companies, there are several concerns about shift work. One is to organize shifts appropriately. Companies can decide to take three shifts a day, where employees will work in eight hours of additions. Alternatively, two twelve -hour shifts can run a day. When shifts begin and end in shifts, they may differ in society and one of the disadvantages of this form of work is that it is usually difficult to offer Flex time employees because creating a shift means maintaining the most documents in a particular schedule.

Another problem with the work of shift is that it costs more. Employees can receive special compensation if they work longerle than eight hours or make shifts. In addition, most companies pay for overtime, as well as time and a half, and pay the differential for those working on shifts, which can be between 5-30% of the reward per hour. Employers can also have much higher accounts for electricity and gas if they require energy 24 hours a day instead of only eight hours a day.

Extra salary can also prove disadvantageous for employees at certain times. It can cause financial problems if employees have to take illness or holiday, as compensation then falls to a basic salary without overtime or difference. Many employees set out for another reward and do not have to receive it when they are sick outside or when they take time for holiday. In companies that forced closure around the holidays, there may be a huge problem for employees who have worked to make a huge problem of shifts to make extra money and have to get less. Probably employees still pay the price for being a shift if they haveDays off because they must either change their sleep cycle, or continue the same unusual sleep that can make them less accessible to family and friends.

In addition to health care in hospitals, a number of industries normally practice shift work. These include the enforcement of law, the department of fire safety, rescue agencies, 24 -hour restaurants, bakeries, military forces, broadcast networks, air traffic control and many more. In many production plants, exchange work can be carried out as needed or on the basis of demand. If the demand for an increase in the product increases, the company may temporarily create additional shifts to comply with the demand or operate 24 hours a day to be prepared to satisfy the demand once it is formed.
