What are spondyloarthropathy?

spondyloarthropathy is a class of related diseases, all of which affect the bones of the spine and other joints. In many ways they resemble arthritis and are often characterized by inflammation of the spine and tissues that surround it. Many patients who represent one of several types of spondyloarthropathy also experience inflammation of the skin, eyes and intestines, among other things. Spondyloarthropathy can be presented as one specific type or may be undifferentiated in which some symptoms of more than one type are present. The causes of these diseases are largely unknown, although there are some genetic predisposition to some patients. It is a chronic spine inflammation that includes its connection and links. This inflammation often implies pain and stiffness. If it is not handled correctly, this may result in joining vertebrae and TON rigidity.

The severity of AS differs from the patient to the patient and usually hits an early adulthood. AS procedure tends to be slow, inanimate threateningEmployment and usually does not require great lifestyle adjustments unless serious. Treatment tends to focus on pain relief because there is no known treatment or reversal of the progression AS.

Reactive arthritis (REA) is another member of the spondyloarthropathy family. Its range is not limited to the spine and can affect one or more joints simultaneously. Rea tends to be limiting, often lasting less than a year. In patients with chronic REA, its progression is not always in a straight line, but can oscillate between improvement and relapse. Inflammation may be present in tissues that are also not related to the joints, but all inflammation caused by Rea is non -infectious.

Enteropathic arthritis is another spondyloarthropathy. It usually affects the joints of the lower limbs and is often accompanied by inflammatory bowel disease. It mainly affects young people and can sometimes include a spine, especially in people with the gene that most people have. Physical therapy, reliefAnd from pain and exercises, forms are generally used, as is the case with other spondyloarthropathy.

When spondyloarthropathy is undifferentiated, the patient suffers from a combination of the above symptoms that are not suitable for diagnosis as a specific type. This lack of differentiation can lead to the disease is originally improperly diagnosed as fibromyalgia or other diseases characterized by chronic pain. Undiferentiated spondyloarthropathy can proceed to AS, but generally has a good prognosis over time.
