What are webkinz®?

Webkinz® are animals in the real world that integrate into an online virtual environment using a unique ID included in each animal. The toy owner logs in to his account on WebKinz® Web and enters a new animal code. This brings a virtual version of their toys to their World Webkinz® World, where they can communicate dynamically with it.

Webkinz® are focused on small children, usually from about 5 years to pre -school teens. Like many toys focused on this market, there were some concerns about the amount of energy focused on them. The demand for New Webkinz®, when they are released, is incredibly high and many parents and children get upset if they are unable to get the Webkinz® they were looking for. In addition, some of them were concerned that the WebKinz® phenomenon can be very addictive for children. In general, however, webkinz® receives positive reviews from parents and children.

The first webkinz® Were was released in April 2005 and has been released since then more than a hundred new webkinz®. Animals move from themAnimal names such as pig or frog to more decorated creatures such as Whimsy Dragon or Bubblegumasaurus. Each webkinz® is also released with its own special item and own special meals. For example, Webkinz® Brown Arabian comes with a virtual victory of the horse and is fed D'Oeuvres.

Some webkinz® are also seasonally released for a limited period of time, which makes them collection. The world has its own economy based on Kinzcash®, which is earned by purchasing real webkinz®, completing the "tasks" in play or playing games or Trivia competing. Kinzcash® is used to feed webkinz®, as well as to expand your house and buy furniture and decorations for it.

Some items in the world of WebKinz® are only available by completing certain tasks or buying additional accessories in the real world. This includes things such as pets for pets, bookmarks, school supplies, lip gloss and collector cards.

Most games played inside the world Webkinz® are simple exploration and gathering of diversity. The players are encouraged to search the world of different items that are then combined to win the game and unlock a new item or earn Kinzcash®. Webkinz® is also a social environment where children can communicate with each other through a firm Rega louted system that was supposed to stop potential online predators. Children can visit each other with virtual houses to see their pets, play with them, playing board games and talking to each other using a system filled with prescribed phrases.
