Endocarditis in the elderly is divided into infectious and non-infectious two categories, the former is more common. The main pathogens in elderly patients are Streptococcus and Staphylococcus. Fever, enlarged heart, lack of appetite, fatigue, increased erythrocyte sedimentation and anemia are the main clinical manifestations. There are two main treatment methods: antibiotic treatment and surgical treatment.
