What Is Biological Therapy?
Biotherapeutics include nine aspects: cytokine therapy, anti-cytokine therapy, immunoprotective therapy, toxin-directed therapy, gene transcription factor therapy, monoclonal antibody therapy, oligonucleotide drug therapy, gene therapy, and gene vaccine. Biological therapy is a fourth type of cancer treatment developed after surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. It is a method that uses and stimulates the body's immune response to fight, suppress and kill cancer cells. [1]
