What are red onions?

Red onion is a bulbous vegetable that belongs to the type allium cepa . The outer skin of this onion is in fact a shade of purple, while the interior is white with a touch of dark red and when heated when heated, it is slightly blue. If the onions are cooked, they release their natural sugars and have a sweeter taste.

Red onion is generally considered one of the more versatile types of onions, as raw or cooked can be administered, and also be paired with sweet or salty ingredients. For example, a red onion is often combined with food ona base of mango or apples except for meat or vegetables. For the purposes of presentation, it is also often preferred through yellow or white onions simply because it is more colorful. When using RAW, it is usually added to Salsas, Tutneys, salads and sandwiches. If the onion is grilled or roasted, they can stand separately as side dishes or be used in soups, castles or other hot appetizers.
