What is enocitake?

enocitake, also known as Flammulina Velutipes , is a type of edible mushroom that is located in many parts of the world, including North America and Asia. In fact, enokitake comes in two forms: a wild form and a cultivated variety that looks radically different. The cultivated variety is much tastier and more interesting, although the wild form is perfectly edible. The cultivated enokitake is very popular in Chinese and Japanese cuisine and can be found fresh and canned in many markets. The cultivated enokitake is also sometimes called a "golden needle" due to shape. The color and form of the fungus are the result of the way in which it is grown in long dark glasses. The sponge, which was deprived of sunlight, is unable to take over any color and grows a long stem in an effort to reach daylight. The result is a slightly crunchy enokitake, with a fruit or yeast taste, which many people consider quite beautiful.

Wild enokitake looks very different and is sometimes known as a velvet leg due to the texture of the stem. In wild form, enocitake has a wide brown cap that can reach a width of three inches (seven centimeters). The fungus cap is damp and somewhat sticky and slightly convex, even if the fungus is equal. The stem is a black and velvety texture.

Velvet Foot is perfectly edible, albeit a little watery and bland. However, mushroom collectors must be carefully collected because the winter fertile fungus resembles several poisonous species. The real velvet leg creates white spore printing and will be characterized by a velvety trunk and a growth pattern of fungi, which usually appear in clusters on rot. Always collect Mushrooms with an experienced guide as well as high -quality collection manuals.

The cultivated enocitake is delicious in fries and other Asian inspired meals. Mushrooms are adequately resistant and can stand well for cooking or join closer to an end to allow you moreNo one of the crisis and taste. When preparing a cultivated enocitake for cooking, the roots of mushrooms should be cropped from the stems and the mushrooms should be gently brushed or errors and pat it dry if they are used immediately.
