What is Daniel fast?

Daniel Fast is a spiritual fasting based on the life of a prophet named Daniel of the Bible. In chapters one and ten of the book Daniel, he participates in fasting to show his faith in and impatience to God. In the first chapter Daniel ate only vegetables, fruits and water during fasting. The tenth chapter states that Daniel did another quickly and went 21 days without food, bread or expensive food. The scholars believe that rare means sweet, and therefore eliminates all sweeteners such as sugar, from Daniel's diet.

During Daniel, one can quickly eat all kinds of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, seeds and legumes. He or she can also use spices, spices, herbs and oils such as rape, olive or vegetable oil. Forbidden foods include meat, other animal products, dairy products, sweeteners-grown and natural, processed or refined foods, fried food, fats, AA any drink other than water.

Daniel Fast focuses on influencing three different aspects of the human self: spirit, body and soul. According to Christian faith, the spirit is what welcomes the Holy Spirit into the believer body, thus giving spiritual power to control the body and soul. Daniel quickly affects the body by providing a natural diet that helps to get rid of the body of toxins as well as addiction to caffeine or sugar. The soul is influenced by the land because there are emotions and impulses. Also, a rapid tests the ability of a person to respond to a desire for eating or emotional impulses that could prevent the completion of the 21 -day fast.

Unlike other common religious fasting, Daniel Fast does not limit when or how many participants can eat. It also allows exceptions from fasting. However, this is the case only after the participant asked the Holy for the leadership of this matter.

As well as any diet or fast, it was known that Daniel Fast causes side effects of his participants. The reason is the overall change of eating habits. The most common side effects are fatigue, headaches, leg cramps and general physical discomfort.

There are also benefits. Most participants report weight loss due to lack of sweeteners, meat and oily foods. Other participants said Daniel Fast helped their diabetes, arthritis and even cancer.
