What is the supercontinent?

Supercontinent is a continent that includes more than one Craton (Continental Core). A modern example is Eurasia. However, this example can be misleading because virtually every modern continent has a number of small shorts. Here, the word "Craton" generally concerns historical continents, such as Baltica, Craton under Europe, which was an independent continent in the geological past. A prototypical example would be Panga, a C -shaped ground, which existed 250 million years ago, including almost the whole country on Earth, with the exception of northern China and several smaller islands. Panga straddled the equator and reached almost from pole to pole. Panga was concentrated around the modern Atlantic Ocean. In fact, the middle -atlantic ridge in the Atlantic Ocean is the original rupture that caused the pangea to split.

SuperContinents Avívrcholní effect called the seabed, where the rupture in the center of the seawater floors all over the world constantly creates a new bark and pushes continents along withthem. This spread of the seabed eventually pushes all the world continents together (because some rift systems will always overcome others) and create a supercontinent. Within 20–100 million years, the supercontinent will be distributed again. This process is called a super-contact cycle and is expected to repeat every 250-500 million years. Possible future supercontinent was pre -named Panga Ultima.

Supercontinent is relatively hostile to life. Its interiors are huge deserts with extreme temperatures. The reason is the absence of the thermal modulation effects of water and the continent so large that it is difficult to hover up to the center and drop their useful load.
