The addition of storage tanks will greatly increase the flexibility of gas storage peak shaving, providing security for existing users and the flexibility of new users.
According to the plan, between 2015 and 2020, a natural gas pipe grid bureau with a "two vertical and two horizontal, north-south extension" will be formed in Fujian Province. The layout of the ring network is from Zhangzhou along the Zhanglong Expressway to Longyan, from Fuzhou along the Jingfu Expressway to Nanping, and then from Nanping to Zhangping, Yong'an, Sanming, Shaxian to Longyan, forming a "two verticals" with the current Fuzhou-Zhangzhou pipeline. The two-horizontal ring-shaped gas supply network structure uses this ring network as the gas supply platform to connect the corresponding gas transmission branch lines and set up sub-transmission stations to cover the main gas market in the province. The "North-South Extension" dispatching route refers to Fuzhou via Ningde, Fu'an, and Fuding to the north; Xiamen Xiang'an to Zhangzhou and Zhangpu to the south to Lu'an. At the same time, the Putian Gas Power Plant # 1 unit, which uses a heavy-duty 9F gas-steam combined cycle generator set, successfully passed a 168-hour trial run before and has now officially started production. It is reported that the first phase of Putian Gas Power Plant will build 4 sets of generating units with a total investment of 5.08 billion yuan. After the first phase of the project is put into operation, the annual power generation will be 6 billion kWh. The use of clean energy LNG in power plants can effectively promote energy conservation and emission reduction, increase the conversion rate of primary energy to secondary energy, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 2 million tons per year.
