What Is a Scope Statement?
Scope definition is the activity of breaking down major project deliverables into smaller, more manageable units for better control. Its purpose is to improve the accuracy of cost, time and resource estimates, and to define a benchmark plan for performance measurement and control to facilitate clear assignment of responsibilities.
