What is the balance between working and private life?

As far as the balance of responsibility of both work and family life is concerned, many of us find ourselves in the gray area. Hard work and determination of our work usually lead to tangible rewards, such as higher salary or corner office. The same determination to our personal life often leads to rewards, such as stronger relationships or deeper understanding of our purpose on Earth. The struggle to maintain our personal and professional commitments in the perspective is known as a balance between work and private life.

The term balance between work and private life may initially be a bit misleading, because many of us assume that the right balance is always 50/50. Unfortunately, many people find that the ratio between work and life can be closer to 70/30 or even 80/20. Are you able to fulfill most of your family duties without feeling guilty of missing work?
