What are the different types of ITIL® training?
The organization of vocational education around the world offers courses in the Library of Information Technology® (ITIL®). ITIL® training courses are adapted to help students certify either in ITIL® version 2 (V2) or ITIL® Version 3 (V3). Each version offers students more levels of certification. ITIL® is a registered trademark of the Office of Government Trade (OGC) in the UK and other countries.
ITIL® V2 was revised in 2007 to create V3. Most ITIL® educational programs focus on V3, but many organizations continue to use the second version, so V2 training courses are still widely available. Most educational programs offer bridge courses that V2 users teach V3 features for those organizations that want to change versions. Both versions begin with a certification of the foundation that provide students with training in basic structures, terminology and information technology processes (IT).
Beyond The Foundacertification Certification, V2 ITIL® Training offersPracticing and manager certification. The certification of the GP is usually for IT administrators who want to specialize in a specific area. Students can receive modules in change management, service level management, configuration management, problem management and service board. The manager's certification, especially useful for IT managers responsible for ITIL® implementation, covers all aspects of services and service support.
The main difference between V2 and V3 ITIL® training is that the V3 allows higher levels of professional qualifications. V3 includes four levels of certification, including the basic certification of the foundation. V3 also offers medium certification with mirroring courses V2 upper level, professional certification and main certification.
IT ITMODULY ERMEDIATE CERTIFICATION is covered with matrix and IT service bolts through two teaching tracks: life cycle and abilities. CertificationThe life cycle is similar to training in the V2 Manager certification, except for focusing on the categories of V3 ITIL® strategy, design, transition, operation and constant improving services. Certification of abilities is similar to V2 Practioner certification in that it focuses on IT specialization. Includes modules in operational support and analysis; Services and agreements; Release, control and verification; and planning, protection and optimization.
V3 offers students two opportunities to achieve qualifications higher than in V2, experts and master. V3 Expert Certification is for students who, in addition to completing the certification of the foundation and one of the two middle tracks, take another training module called "Administration throughout the life cycle". The fourth and final level of V3 certification is called the main certification and does not require the course training, but experience in the workplace and a review.
