Experts point out that paid leave has been resolved from the institutional level in China. The key to the problem is how to implement it comprehensively. This requires multi-faceted efforts by employers, labor inspection departments, unions, and employees. The "Guidelines for National Tourism and Leisure (2013-2020)" announced that "the basic implementation of the paid annual leave system for employees by 2020" is proposed. To achieve this goal, the rights of workers in private and private enterprises are undoubtedly the key targets.

Holiday new year

The first day of each year is the New Year of the solar calendar, also known as "New Year's Day". The way New Years are celebrated in countries around the world depends on local customs. For example, in New Years in European countries, some people will give each other gifts and collective feasts.

Holiday Chinese New Year

On the first day of the first lunar month of the lunar calendar, it is now called the Spring Festival. The folk name is "New Year". The original meaning of "year" refers to the maturity of the grain. The word "year" already appeared in the Oracle inscription more than three thousand years ago, but it is written differently than it is today. It is formed by adding the words "he" and "thousand" together; these respective meanings are obvious, indicating The grain is heavy and the harvest is good. In the ancient books, every year when the grain matures and is harvested, it is called "the year". From now on, the ripeness of the grain is counted as one year. In the Zhou Dynasty, it was exactly "year", and the beginning of the year was called "year head". In the first year of the Western Han Dynasty (104 BC), Emperor Wu Che of the Han Dynasty presided over the preparation of the early calendar, and officially established that the first month of the year is the head of the year, and the first day of the first month is the New Year's Day. The Taichu calendar actually inherited the calendar of the summer calendar and adopted the twenty-four solar terms to help guide agricultural production, so it was called the "Lunar calendar". There are many other names for Lunar New Year's Day, such as: Yuanri, Yuanshuo, Yuanzheng, Yuanchen, Zhengdan, Xinzheng, New Year, New Year, etc., all refer to the first day of the year. After the founding of the Republic of China, the solar calendar was officially adopted, and January 1 of each year was designated as the New Year's Day.

Regarding the origin of the "year", in addition to the records in the history books, there are also many interesting legends. Among them, the more widely spread is a story about people working together to resist the "year". According to legend, in ancient times, there was a vicious monster with a head like a lion and a strong cow. When the food in the mountains was scarce in winter, they had to run out of the mountains to break into the village, seeing people hurt, seeing animals hurting animals. So in the winter, everyone was frightened and disturbed. Everyone had to move to a distant place to escape the harm of "year". Over time, people have discovered that although "year" is fierce, they are also afraid of three things: one is the bright red color, the other is the bright firelight, and the third is the huge sound. So everyone discussed, as long as every family has these three things, "year" must not dare to enter the village. In the winter, the fierce "year" is about to leave the mountain and enter the village. The people in the village have agreed with each other. The doors of every family are hung with large wooden boards painted in red, and the door is burning with a vigorous fire. At night, everyone doesn't sleep. There were bangs at home and loud noises were heard everywhere. It was late at night, and "Nian" rushed to the entrance of the village. I saw red everywhere and bright everywhere, and it was very loud, and I was very scared. I quickly turned around and hid in the mountains, and never came out to endanger the villagers and animals. Early the next morning, the whole village gathered to congratulate each other for their victory in ousting the beasts. What a hard day! Every winter, people can't forget the days when they defended against the invasion of the village in the past years. Every family still hung red wooden boards, lit the fire, and beat them all night, and they rejoiced and celebrated the next day. In this way, the custom of "New Year" is formed from generation to generation.

Holiday Lantern Festival

The 15th day of the first lunar month is the Lantern Festival. This traditional festival was linked to the Spring Festival in ancient times. The Spring Festival activities in the old days usually started from Laba (eighth of December) and ended at the Lantern Festival. That is to say, the "New Year" event officially ended on the 15th of the first month. one day. After this day, everything is as normal as usual. There are many legends about the origin of the Lantern Festival, mainly related to religious sacrifices.
One is related to the worship of the ancient Taiyi god. Taiyi is another name for Tiandi; it is said that he has great power and controls everything. The storms, droughts, hunger, and plagues in the world are all under his control, and they almost control the destiny of mankind. Taiyi also commands sixteen dragons, and is one of the most respected gods. The pre-Qin emperors, in order to obtain good weather, Guotai Minan, held a grand ritual ceremony at the beginning of each year. The Han Dynasty inherited the tradition of sacrificing Taiyi God. Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty paid special attention to this activity. On the night of the sacrificial ceremony, the palace was brightly lit, and the sacrificial ceremony could reach all night. In 104 BC, when Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty created the "Taichu Calendar", the fifteenth day of the first month to worship Taiyi was listed as a major festival.
The second is related to Taoism's belief in "three officials" and respect for God. Taoism is a kind of polytheism; one of the important sects of Taoism is Wudou Rice, which worships three officials and respects the gods: heaven, earth, and water. These three official gods each have their own division of labor: heavenly officials bless, local officials forgive sins, and water officials relieve their distress. They each have their own advantages: Tianguan is good, local officials are good, and water officials are good lamps. The birthdays of the officials are also very interesting. The birthday of the Tianguan is listed on the 15th day of the first month, and the ancients are listed as the Shangyuan Festival; the birthday of the local official is listed on the 15th of July, and the ancients is listed as the Chinese Yuan festival; The ancients were listed as Xia Yuan Festival, collectively called "San Yuan Festival". Of these three festivals, the above yuan festivals are the most valued. On this day, in accordance with the three officials' hobby, they played music and hung lanterns. People went to the streets to watch the lanterns, praying for blessings, forgiveness of sins, and relief.

Holiday Ching Ming Festival

The Chinese people respect filial piety, stressing prudence and pursuit, and acting in homage to their ancestors. Since ancient times, there have been days of grave sweeps in different dynasties. Although the dates are different, they are about before and after the Qingming, because Qingming is the time when the cold spring comes, and when all things are recovering, they can show respect for their ancestors. In the twenty-fourth year of the Republic of China, the government clearly designated the Qingming Festival as a national tomb-sweeping festival, which underscored the importance of the Qingming tomb-sweeping.
After Taiwan's agricultural society was transformed into an industrial and commercial society, many old customs have gradually been ignored by people. However, the grave sweeping in Qingming is still highly valued. The graveyard sacrifice activities have reached the climax before and after Qingming, and the hilltops are full of grave sweeping crowds. The government will also hold a central ceremony, which fully demonstrates the spirit of Chinese people not forgetting the original.
Because the cemeteries are mostly located in the suburbs, and the Ching Ming Festival is in the late spring, after the family sweeps the grave, they often travel together to enjoy the bright spring light and share the joy of the family. Taqing has become an important entertainment activity of the Qingming Festival.
There are different foods for Ching Ming Festival in different places. In Taiwan, the most common are tombs and cakes, which are quite unique foods.
The Qingming Festival combined with people's worship of ancestors and nature shows that the Chinese people respect the virtue of filial piety, but in today's society, in addition to grave sweeping and worship, following the teachings of the ancestors and promoting the virtues of the ancestors is a more concrete manifestation of filial piety.

Holiday dragon boat festival

The Dragon Boat Festival is also called the Dragon Boat Festival, the May Festival, and the Heavy Wu Festival. This is a festival to commemorate the patriotic poet Qu Yuan born more than 2,300 years ago. Qu Yuan's name is Ping, the original name is Ling Jun, Chu people in the Warring States Period, Shi Yu Chu Huai was the third doctor. He made laws for the Chu country and created a constitution. Not only did King Huai trust him, the people also loved him. At that time, Qin was powerful and looked down upon the eastern nations. Qu Yuan advocated uniting against the Qin, while the doctor Shang Shang Jin Shang and the younger son of King Huai Lan tried to pro-Qin. Because of this, Doctor Shangguan often vilified him in the presence of King Huai, who gradually alienated him. When Qu Yuan was worried about the country, he used "li Sao" to cherish the king, and the king did not realize it. Finally defeated by Qin in Wuguan, leaving Zhao was not welcomed and died in Qin.
The crown prince was the king of Xiang, with Zilan as the reign, and Fuxin promised to exile Qu Yuan to Jiangnan. Later Chu State was broken by Qin State. Qu Yuan himself suffered from the death of his country as "Huaisha Fu" and other articles with Mingzhi. He died on the 5th day of the lunar calendar on May 5, 1999 BC, when he was 62 years old. The Chu people lamented the corpses by boat, and put bamboo into the water to fill the fish, so as not to hurt the original corpse. This is the origin of the Dragon Boat Festival Dragon Boat Festival and eating dumplings.

Holiday Chinese New Year

We Chinese say that when people die, they will become ghosts and live in another world, Hades. It is ruled by King Yan Luo. On July 1st every year, King Yan Luo will order the ghosts to open the gates of the ghosts, so that these ghosts in the underworld can visit their relatives among the people, and we will also prepare a wealth of delicious food. Please enjoy these lonely ghosts. This is followed by the Chinese Yuan Festival on July 15th, also known as July and a half. People worship these ghosts to reach a climax, and temples in various places prepare dishes and hold Purdue. Every family also prepares a variety of delicious food, fruits, drinks, etc. to worship their ancestors, and also held water lanterns at the river or the sea, the purpose is to extradite the dead souls who drowned in the water to avoid surging in the water forever. On July 30th, the King of Yan will take them all back to the Underworld, and people will let them have another meal as usual, and the "Ghost Moon" in July will end.

Holiday star festival

It is said that in ancient times there was a kind young man named Niu Lang. His parents died early and lived with his brother. The harsh sister-in-law often bullied him, and in the end he urged the brothers to separate, occupying the land and houses themselves, and only gave an old cow to the cowboy. This old cow is not an ordinary cow, but a Taurus star in the sky. It has been degraded by the Jade Emperor to the world as a cow because it violated the Jade Emperor's rule. It saw that the good Cowherd was bullied and decided to help him. One day, it suddenly told Cowherd that there was a lake under the mountain on the east side, and there were seven fairies going down to take a bath in the lake every evening. As long as Niu Lang stole one of the clothes, the fairy could not return to Tiangong and would stay as his wife. After hearing the words of the old cow, the cowherd secretly hid the clothes of one of the fairies. When the fairies had to return to the temple after taking a bath, the youngest weaver found her clothes were missing, and anxiously cried. At this moment, the cowboy appeared holding her clothes and asked the weaver to agree to be his wife before returning the clothes to her. The weaver girl shyly agreed to see the Cowherd being honest and honest. After their marriage, the two had a pair of children, men and women weaving, and their lives were very happy. But the faithful old cow died. Before he died, he told the cowboy that after he died, he peeled off its skin and came in handy when he encountered difficulties. After the news that the weaver girl married Niu Lang returned to Tianting, the Emperor Jade Emperor was so angry that she sent the queen mother and daughter to catch the weaver girl and return. Niu Lang couldn't see the weaver girl when she returned home, and was so anxious to cry with her two children. Suddenly remembering the old cow's instructions, he put on the cowhide, picked two children with a basket, and quickly chased the queen mother and the weaver. Relying on the magical magic of cowhide, Cowboy Fei also caught up with them. At this moment, the mother-in-law's heart was anxious, so she pulled out her golden sister-in-law and swept the ground, and immediately a turbulent Tianhe appeared, separating Cowherd and Weaver from both sides. The cowherd and a pair of children were crying by the river. The cry shocked the emperor Jade. When he saw that the two children were very poor, he asked their family to meet once a year on July 7. So every year on the Qixi Festival, countless magpies fly up to the sky and build a bridge to let the cowherd and the weaver family cross the river. It is said that every year, the magpies on the Chinese Tanabata will be reduced, because they all fly to the sky to build bridges. And, after the Qixi Festival, the hair on the magpie's head will fall, because Qixi went to the bridge. It was also said that it will rain on the night of Qixi Festival. This is the tears of joy when the Cowherd and Weaver Girl reunited.

Holiday Mid-Autumn Festival

There are quite a lot of myths about the Mid-Autumn Festival, like the story of Chang'e flying to the moon: In ancient China, there were not only one sun in the sky, but ten suns took turns to illuminate the world every day, and these ten suns were the sons of Tiandi . One day, the ten sun brothers appeared in the sky together in mischief, lighting the earth hot, the trees were on fire, the river was dried up, and everyone died. So the Emperor called Houyi, the god who can shoot the most arrows in the sky, to scare them, but the brothers of the sun didn't pay much attention to Houyi's warning. Instead, he deliberately approached the ground, causing the ground to catch fire, so Houyi could not bear it. Nine suns. People are very grateful for Hou Ji's killing of the people, but they angered the Emperor, because Hou Ji shot his son, so he and his wife were not allowed to return to heaven. Houyi became an emperor in the world, enjoying prosperity and wealth, so he was afraid of death, hoping to live forever. He finally obtained two elixir from the mother of the west, one of which was for Chang'e. But after Houyi became emperor, he brutally reported abuse and ignored government affairs. Chang'e was worried that if Houyi was immortal, the people would endure endless suffering. So he swallowed two elixir in one breath. After swallowing the medicine, the body became very light and fluttered on the moon, and lived in the "Guanghan Palace" ever since.
According to another legend, there was a man named Wu Gang in the moon who cut the osmanthus tree that could not cut off the leaves every day. Wu Gang was a coward, and he liked Xiandao very much, but he refused to study hard, contrary to the spirit of learning Xiandao, so the emperor was very angry, so he locked him in the moon palace and asked him to cut laurel trees every day. This is the story of "Wu Gang Fagui".
The Mid-Autumn Festival has always been regarded as a very important day, because on this day, family members who go abroad will go home to reunite for moon cakes, Wendan, and enjoy the joy of heaven.

Holiday women's day

Women account for half of the world's population, but they are not treated as well as men. With the rise of feminism and women's awareness of autonomy, the gap and inequality between the sexes are slowly disappearing.
On March 8, 1909, in order to fight for equal treatment of men and women, American women's social groups held marches and demonstrations in Chicago and organized a women's sports federation, so they awoke the long-lost women's voices. In 1910, the International Women's Conference was held in Copenhagen, Denmark, which proposed "equal pay for equal work for men and women" and "protection of women" and stated that March 8th each year is "International Women's Day".
China's women's movement started late, but has been promoted quite actively, with brilliant achievements. In the thirteenth year of the Republic of China, Guangzhou held the first International Women's Day celebration conference. In the 27th year of the Republic of China, the National Council for Political Participation was established, with 160 members participating in politics and 10 women. This was the beginning of women's participation in politics. During the Anti-Japanese War, it also played an important role and made an indelible contribution to the victory of the Anti-Japanese War.
The status quo of women in Taiwan today is much better than in the past, and Women's Day has also received considerable attention. Every year, the central and local governments meet and celebrate respectively. They praise the "Top Ten Outstanding Women" and choose "Brilliant Everyone" to show that the achievements of Taiwanese women are obvious to all.

During the Guangzhou Uprising, he fought a fierce battle with the Manchu government, and unfortunately failed after a fierce day and night. A total of 72 people died in this campaign, all of whom were promising young elites. Because the martyrs' spirit of self-denial and national salvation was great and moving, the government made March 29th every year as the Youth Day in 1954.
On the day of Youth Day, the Central Committee will be hosted by the President in person to sacrifice revolutionary martyrs and fallen soldiers at the Martyrs 'Shrine. Local governments will also hold ceremonies at the local Martyrs' Shrine and celebrate the Youth Day. This encourages young people to cherish the fruits of the revolution and create well-being for humanity.

Holiday international labor day

On October 7, 1982, in order to work too long, American workers began to advocate the "eight-hour movement," also known as the "38-eight movement." ... that is eight hours of work, eight hours of education, and eight hours of rest. The United States and Canadian labor groups held a joint conference in Chicago to call for workers from all over the world to respond and decided to hold a large-scale rally on May 1, 1886 to promote this movement.
On May 1, 1886, industrial workers across the United States enthusiastically launched the movement, singing, "From now on, no matter who the worker is, he will never do more than eight hours of work." Meanwhile, Chicago City workers set up the "Eight Hour Association" and held large-scale demonstrations. The result was a bloody tragedy. Worker leader Bai Song was killed, and many workers' lives were sacrificed. But the workers' struggle is more active. In less than a month, more than 200,000 workers across the United States have been paid eight hours of work. The European labor community has also responded. Workers win.
In 1889, the "International Workers' Union", composed of leaders from the British, French, German, German, Belgian, Spanish, and French countries, held a meeting in Paris. The French representative proposed a motion: In order to obtain an eight-hour labor system from Huang's own government, it is necessary to make a universal and international expression on a certain day. Holiday Mother's Day

The second Sunday in May
Mother's Day is a campaign launched by Miss Anna Jarvis in the United States in memory of her dead mother.

She taught the National Day courses at Sunday school. Telling the story of the hero who died for the country in the memorial for the nation. At the same time, she always proclaimed motherhood in prayers. She hoped that someone would create a Mother's Day to commemorate and praise the mothers in the world for their efforts in raising children. She often said, "Mothers suffer the most for their children and enjoy the least. When the mother is alive, the children are not sensible; when the children grow up, they must filialize the mother, and the mother is no longer on earth."
Her prayers were very touching. Especially her daughter, Miss Anna Jarvis, has left a deep impression on her pure heart since she was a child.
Anna's mother is not only a religionist; she also has leadership skills and profound education. She has served in the church all her life, leading many women and maintaining the unity of the church. Holiday Poet Festival

During the Anti-Japanese War, the Chinese Literary and Art Circle Anti-enemy Association was established in Hankou in the 27th year of the Republic of China. After the government moved to Chongqing, Mr. Chen Jixuan, an astronomical artist, and others chatted in the Sino-Soviet Cultural Association. Everyone mentioned that children have Children's Day, teachers have Teacher's Day, and women have Women's Day. Almost no matter what kind of people, they all have their festivals. Why do our poets have no festival? So everyone decided: the poet should also have a festival. But on what day? Everyone talked for a long time and could not reach a conclusion. Some people advocate that the festival should be based on the birthday of the poetic saint or poetic fairy. However, some people say that although Chinese poems flourished in the Tang Dynasty, since the Chinese nation has history, there have been poems, and we must go back to them. Mr. Zang Yunyuan suddenly had a clever idea. He shouted, "Why don't we use Qu Yuan as a representative?" Everyone was meditated for a while by this sudden stimulation. So you said in a word, I explained the reasons for Qu Yuan as a representative: such as Qu Yuan's great personality, indomitable spirit, and his great achievements in creation. In this way, it has great significance both internally and externally and to our poets. As a result, Mr. Zang's proposal was immediately approved. Everyone agrees to be a poet's day on the Dragon Boat Festival. No need to count in the future, the festival will follow the Dragon Boat Festival.
In the 28th year of the Dragon Boat Festival in the Republic of China, the First Poet Festival was held in Chongqing Sino-Soviet Cultural Association. Many poets recited poetry that day and it was very lively. Every year on this day, there will be a warm gala. There are even commemorative events in many remote and remote schools.

Holiday Father's Day

Father's Day is scheduled to be held on August 8 each year, so it is also called the 88th Festival. Because of the two-word concatenation; the sound is the same as the father, as the name implies, easy to remember. The department was initiated by Shanghai people Yan Huiqing, Yuan Xizhi, Shi Zhifu, Lu Ganchen, Yan Duhe, and others. The first Father's Day was held in Shanghai on August 8, 1949. At the same time raised more than 20 million yuan to donate to primary and secondary schools.
The Father's Day was launched as a blessing to his father, suggesting that he missed the motherland, and read the origin of it. At that time, Shanghai was still occupied by the Japanese army and belonged to the occupied area. According to the Boyetin Declaration, it was issued on July 26, and the Hiroshima atomic bomb was dropped on August 6. The Japanese begging notice was filed on August 10. The first Father's Day was held before the surrender of Japan. Fate of death, though doomed. The battle of the trapped beasts still cares. The promoters waited under the iron hoof of the enemy, disregarding suspicion and avoiding danger. Launch this social movement to raise money for donations to primary and secondary schools. It is a heroic performance of carrying forward the righteousness of the nation.
After the victory, the party elders and celebrities from all walks of life: Wu Zhixuan, Li Shizeng, Pan Gongzhan, Du Yuesheng, Wang Xiaoyin, Li Denghui, Song Hanzhang, and others jointly petitioned the government to grant August 8th every year as Father's Day, which will be followed throughout the country.

Holiday National Day

Origin of National Day
October 1, 1949 was the anniversary of the founding of New China. It should be noted here that in the impression of many people, on October 1, 1949, the founding ceremony of the People's Republic of China with hundreds of thousands of soldiers and civilians was held in Beijing's Tiananmen Square. In fact, the impression in people's heads is not accurate. Because the ceremony on October 1, 1949 in Tiananmen Square was a grand ceremony for the founding of the Central People's Government of the People's Republic of China, not a founding ceremony. In fact, the "founding" of the People's Republic of China, that is to say the founding of the People's Republic of China, was announced a week before October 1st of that year. At that time, it was not called the "Founding Ceremony", but rather the "Founding Ceremony". The time is September 21, 1949. On this day, Chairman Mao Zedong of the Preparatory Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference announced the birth of new China in the opening speech delivered by the first session of the CPPCC.
