What is Acrosisis?
ACSAGE is a combination of acrobatics, massage and yoga developed by Benjamin Marantz. Marantz, a circus artist trained in acrobatics, noticed that certain acrobatic exercises had an impact on the points of acupressure in his body and developed this new system. Acrosage is considered to be inverse therapy and sessions include a client that overturns to the legs of the practitioner. After rolling the head hangs freely and there is no pressure on the neck or spine. The practice of inversion briefly allows the body to liberate from the effect of gravity and improve the flow of oxygen into the brain. Many people find that they improve their mood, circulation and posture. It is also said that this procedure improves lymphatic drainage, creates trust and improves hormonal reactions. Clients of therapy do not get a rush of blood in the head that many partisipants of other types of inverse therapy. This is because the client has his knees during the massage and the legs of the GP are pushed against the main artery in the lower body, femoral artery. This slows down the flow of blood that returns to the head, which has a wayEC feeling of peace and temporary reduction of brain activity.
During the acrosation therapy, the client will perform five different yoga positions, all in the reverse position. When performing these positions, there will be a practitioner that supports the client with feet, also massaging arms and legs. An experienced physician can support the client much larger than himself, but therapy is still very physical. For productive therapy, the client must feel comfortable at the top of the practicing legs to relax. Choosing an experienced doctor is the best way to ensure sensee.
This therapy is not for everyone. For people suffering from certain eye conditions such as glaucoma or separate retina, there is no risk of increasing pressure behind the eye. Also, those suffering from angina, high blood pressure or other circulation conditions should refrain from participating, as well as those with vertigo or hernia. During pregnancy does not automatically mean that this therapy is contraindico'clock, anyone who is pregnant
