CREST syndrome is a system
Sclerodactyly (S): due to narrowing and occlusion of small arterial lumen and cold blood vessel spasm. Soon the patient's trunk and limbs had diffuse swelling, followed by hardening, and eventually the skin atrophied and thinned. As the subcutaneous tissue and muscles also shrink and harden, causing the skin to cling to the periosteum, skin ulcers and necrosis can often occur. The patient's facial expression is fixed, the nose becomes smaller and sharper, the eye fissures become smaller, the outer ear becomes thinner, and the mouth is affected. Pain and stiffness can appear in joints throughout the body;
Capillary telangiectasia (Telangiectasia, T), mostly in the face, chest and other places. Those with less visceral damage have a better prognosis.
