Rasmussen's encephalitis is a brain disease that occurs in children. Its prevalence is one in one million, and it mostly affects one hemisphere, with refractory epilepsy, progressively worsening hemiplegia and intelligence. Decline is one of the three main clinical features and is a very painful torture for the child. This disease is poorly treated with drugs, while hemisphereectomy can control seizures and prevent disease progression [1] .
