What is the Licorice syrup?
Licorice syrup is a dense liquid that is produced with liquorice. It is sweetened with either sugar or honey to make it tastier and can contain other herbs, depending on the medical use for which the syrup is intended. Further use for syrup liquorice is in the treatment of gastrointestinal disorder. Ulcers, stomach and acid reflux are often treated with liquorice syrup and many other herbs such as chamomile and mint.
