What is the Neigong?
Neigong - also known as Nei Kung, Neigung or Nae Gong - comes from China and refers to a set of breathing, meditative and spiritual exercises that are aimed at promoting peace, relaxation and conscious movement. This practice focuses on connecting breath with movement, developing awareness of body movement and overall release of all tension in the body. Although there are similarities between neigong and Qigong movements, the main difference is that Qigong focuses on energy work or Qi growing, while Neigong is considered an internal practice that focuses on the elasticity of the body. These exercises use a mixture of weight shifting in the legs with twisted body movement, which comes from the torso and extends outwards to the arms. The original point of these motions in the lower fuselage is also referred to as a dantian, an energy point located in the lower abdomen between the ribbon and the membrane. Dantian can be freely translated as "Elixir Field" and is said to be a reservoir of internal strength that provides mental and physicalbalance and stability.
Although Neigong is based on relaxation and gentle movement, gaining fluency with these movements can become a strong combat skill, and some techniques of breathing and focus are often taught in Baguzahang and Xingyiquan Martial Arts School. The main combat advantage of this practice is shortening the delay or time that passes between the conscious will to move and the actual movement of the body. It is assumed that advanced experts have a significantly shortened delay time, which increases their ability to deliver or avoid strokes, allows them to change their Ing battlements faster than their opponent and gives them the ability to give great power out of small movements.
Neigong is sometimes compared to the Indian yoga system, because it is assumed that both systems affect both the body and the inner spirit and bring similar benefits. Physically Neigong increases joint mobility and supports the correct alignmentA and allegedly twisting a common exercise is said to detoxify the organs. Mentally, concentration and self -confidence required in this practice results in deep awareness of body functions and long -term experts demand awareness of blood circulation, peristalize and gentle muscles' movements and improve peace and inner harmony.
